entropy (ˈen-trə-pē) : the degradation of the matter and energy in the universe to an ultimate state of inert uniformity; a process of degradation or running down, or a trend to disorder.
Although the structures and surrounding properties are falling into a state of disrepair, they're still beautiful and interesting in their own way. I love the "in between" state of being, neither new and perfect, nor old and unrecognizable.
To capture that inert uniformity, that beautiful decay, is what I try to do with my camera. We all have flaws, and we are stronger and better for them, not in spite of them.
